[Zevran wasn't sure how to even react to that. This man was not the heartless, mindless, killing machine that they had been told of. The stories that were told made him out to be a ghost or a demon that only wished for blood. The very name Winter Soldier caused even master crows to shiver. But here he was, being spared by him.

When his breath finally returns to him, Zevran doesn't use it for talk right away. He just stares, taking in the man before him. He looks so worn down, yet there was a fire in his eyes. A fire that told him that he wasn't about to give up and there was also honesty there, something that Zevran hadn't seen in years.]

They won't stop.

[He knew that. With him failing his mission they would mark him as a target now too.]

[His eyes glance down at the floor. He wonders if the other will even accept his offer. He did just try to get him to kill him after all. But there was a chance. If not, well then he would be on his own. He wasn't sure how long that would last though.]
