[Bucky raises an eyebrow; he'll be getting the whole story out of him when this is over no matter what anyone briefs him on. But he nods, then walks out the door with him.
It's Hydra, of course it is. They have no interest in anything or anyone in the store except Bucky, but he's not about to allow anyone to be collateral damage in this. He fights with a kind of reckless abandon that speaks to no sense of self-preservation, only completion of the mission, but also with the skill and creativity almost reminiscent of a Kingsman agent.
He works in tandem with Eggsy to ensure no one is hurt, and resists actually killing their attackers, but makes sure none of them will ever hurt anyone again.]
[Eggsy's a bit in awe of the way Bucky fights. Hard and reckless coupled with all the intensity and creativity that a Kingsman agent usually has. It's to the point it wants to be distracting, but instinct kicks in and Eggsy fights along side him. They take each one down, Eggsy less careful of whether he kills them or not, utilizing Bucky's skills to compliment his own as he works.
By the time the last one falls, Kingsman agents swarm inside, immediately beginning to incapacitate the attackers. Eggsy explains Bucky's involvement as soon as Arthur approaches, and then comes back to Bucky.]
So I'm guessin' you know this ain't some regular tailor shop. There's a room upstairs where I can brief you, yeah?
[Bucky's even more wary when the place is swarmed by agents, but he backs up Eggsy's explanation to the man in charge, and nods when Eggsy offers to brief him. He follows him quietly, waiting until they've shut the door until he says anything.]
I'm guessing you know I'm not a regular wounded vet, either.
[Eggsy shuts the door softly, glancing at Bucky. His build, the way he carries himself. As someone who had been in the military, and now works with a spy agency, he's surprised he hadn't pinpointed before that Bucky wasn't quite a typical vet. Probably too much checking him out.]
Nah, and I'm guessin' you know I'm not a tailor. Kingsman is a front. We're British Intelligence, for a simple way to explain it. Obviously we do make suits and we all take turns about the shop.
They won't make me find out where you got your trainin', as long as you ain't workin' for them now. As long as your visit wasn't business.
[Bucky nods, running through his memories to see if they ring a bell.]
You must be good at your jobs if I haven't even heard of you. But you'll find out about me once you start looking up the men downstairs, so I might as well tell you.
They were Hydra, and they were looking for me. Because I used to be the Winter Soldier, their favorite weapon. But the king of Wakanda had my brainwashing fixed, and I was trying to start a new life here.
[He gives Eggsy a small smile.] I really was trying to find a job.
[Eggsy nods as he listens, the voice of a Scot in his ear corroborating everything that he's hearing. It's not an agency that Kingsman has had a lot of interaction with, though they're aware of their presence.]
Well, Kingsman ain't in the business of forcin' retired soldiers to do anythin' they don't want.
[He taps the rim of his glasses, unfolding them and slipping them into his pocket.]
Kinda gotta keep tabs on ya for a bit, but that don't mean I gotta do it here. So wanna get outta here?
[Bucky's smile widens at the first statement, and there's a hint of warmth and gratitude in his eyes. Not being forced to do anything he doesn't want to do is the most important thing Eggsy could offer him.]
Please. I don't mind the company.
[He does glance at the glasses curiously, though.] I haven't seen that kind of technology yet. What does it do?
[Bucky gives Eggsy an annoyed look.] That doesn't help much. One of the things I should have mentioned is that I'm not particularly familiar with modern technology, unless it's a weapon. Or cultural references.
I would mind some food though, or somewhere quiet. [So Eggsy's plan is perfect.]

[Eggsy figures with whatever danger that's just walked through their doors, the secret is out in the open now.]
So how about we protect each other, yeah? [And then maybe do a little more of the whispering and touching and all that.]

[Eggsy leads Bucky back out of the shop, out the door and down the steps, and right into a Kingsman taxi.]
So, where do you wanna go?
[Grab some takeaway, back to Eggsy's flat.]
